The Tennessee Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation has selected colorectal surgeon, Susan Briley, MD, as the Champion of Hope Honoree for their upcoming Fifth Annual Royal Flush Casino Night. This event will take place Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at The Bell Tower, 400 4th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37201.

“I am so pleased to receive this special honor,” said Dr. Briley. “My goal as a physician has always been to provide the best care for my patients and provide them with the latest advancements in research and treatment.”

The mission of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s is to advance research and find cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Royal Flush is the signature fundraising event for the foundation, and the proceeds support the mission to find cures for these chronic digestive diseases. While the Foundation is the leader in cutting edge research, they also provide education and support services to patients, families and healthcare professionals in Tennessee. More than 30,000 children and adults in our state are impacted by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and significant research for cures and treatments is also conducted locally.
