There are 473 new code changes starting October 1, 2018, with 279 new codes, 143 revised codes and 51 deactivated codes for FY 2019 ICD-10-CM with 39 additional changes added from the proposed rule.
In Chapter 2, Neoplasm, there are several new codes and changes. Here are some examples of new codes to this chapter:
- Add C43.111 Malignant melanoma of right upper eyelid, including canthus
- Add C43.112 Malignant melanoma of right lower eyelid, including canthus
