The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and managing acute and chronic illnesses. As an FNP, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. We are a well-established primary care practice expanding our presence in Rutherford County.
Duties
Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status, especially for the Medicare Advantage Plans [AWV, EEs, + PAFs].
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, developing appropriate treatment plans.
Collaborate with your supervising MD to ensure optimal patient care.
Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
Utilize eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and patient management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in acute care settings.
Lock your notes within 48 hours.
Skills
Proficient in conducting physical examinations and patient assessments.
Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
Ability to work effectively independently.

Primary Function:
Responsible for rendering professional clinical care to patients within the medical practice, as directed by the physicians and advanced-practice providers (APPs).
Assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of medical office visits.
Job Responsibilities:
Document in or EMR system- eClinicalWorks (eCW).
Perform triage duties: Place patients in the exam room. Obtain manual vital signs. Document patient health history in EMR system. Document the patient’s chief complaint in EMR system.
Assist physicians or APPs with examination and treatment of patients, including administering injections.
Assist physicians with in-office surgeries using sterile procedure guidelines to ensure non-contamination of sterile field. Set up appropriate surgical instrument tray.
Perform phlebotomy and laboratory tests as required by the physicians or APPs.
Screen clinical telephone calls for providers. May answer patient’s inquiries with respect to medical questions within the limits of medical knowledge. Return phone calls for patient questions. Document patient phone calls in the medical record.
Ensure that all equipment in the exam rooms are clean and properly stocked prior to each day.
Ensure that reports from diagnostic tests ordered have been received.
Take calls from pharmacies. Enter in prescriptions and prescription refills to pharmacies as directed by the providers and document accurately in the medical record.
Explain post-op instructions to patients.
Schedule post-op appointments.
Coordinate with surgery schedulers to schedule outside diagnostic tests.
Adequate medical knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job, such as recording accurate patient histories in the medical record, assist with office examinations, venipuncture, dressing changes, reading clinical instrument gauges, and provide patient education regarding treatment plans.
Coordinate patient flow.
May have exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Education / Certification / Licensure Requirements:
High school education or G.E.D. equivalent- required.
Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program- preferred.
Two years prior experience in a medical practice- preferred.
Qualifications:
Communication skills including fluent in oral and written English- required.
Strong computer skills including the ability to send/receive messages, navigate information technology associated with the position, and use our Electronic Medical Records system eCW.

The Service Desk Analyst is the first line of support for incoming IT issues. This role is responsible for receiving, responding to, documenting, and resolving (or escalating) technical incidents reported by internal billing staff and physician practices. The analyst supports a wide range of hardware and software and plays a vital role in configuring, deploying, and supporting IT assets across all locations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate customer service daily

The “Application Analyst” is responsible for leading the successful creation and implementation of a standardized content and support the add on products offered by eClinicalWorks (ECW). The position requires a knowledge of clinic operations and a general understanding and appreciation HITECH regulations. This position also requires a comprehensive understanding of Ambulatory workflows as well as clinician facing information technology.
This role requires knowledge and understanding of Ambulatory services and how it impacts the healthcare continuum related to patient procedures and processes. This individual is knowledgeable of workflow analysis, system configuration, system readiness testing, and go-live activities.
The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, detailed organizational skills, analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Word and Excel, and interpersonal skills that foster strong working relationships.
Job Duties:
- Maintain current state functionality with patient facing applications and ensure compliance with regulatory efforts.
- Able to develop and facilitate the deployment process and ongoing maintenance process of modules within the core application
- Constantly evaluates the current state of patient facing applications, works with Director of EHR Operations to develop forward strategy for patient engagement
- Able to effectively guide resources through the design of standard content, and functionality
- Support the add on products from eClinicalWorks (ECW) like Patient Portal, Healow, Healow Open Access, Messenger, eClinicalTouch, eClinimobile, Televisits and others
- Develop and update content-specific, competency-based education programs as assigned, which will include credentialed (train the trainer), super user, and end-user functional training programs.
- Provide guidance to training team members, implementation team to support implementation, training, and optimization.
- Provide demonstrations of system functionality as necessary.
- Facilitate proof of concepts and pilots in the field for program refinements and improvements.
- Coordinate logistics associated with education events and departmental meetings.
- Assist with deployment and enhancement strategies for the EMR leveraging the eClinicalWorks (ECW) add-on products.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned within the EHR Operations team.

The AR Follow-up Specialist is responsible for ensuring prompt and complete follow-up on unpaid or denied claims, by following payer specific processes to bill correct claims, submit reconsiderations and appeals, and identify and escalate denial trends to the Billing Manager. This is a full-time position and does require the candidate to be onsite.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining AR queues at a reasonable age-base date as defined by management
Timely submission of medical record documentation requests from payers
Responsible for reviewing and resolving denied or aging medical claims
Responsible for timely follow-up on all appeal submissions
Escalate exhausted appeal efforts, denials, and/or overpayment trends, as needed to Billing Manager for resolution or escalation.
Work payer projects as directed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Solid understanding of payer specific billing and claims submission policies, including timely filing limits, medical record, corrected claim, and reconsideration submission
Advanced business letter writing skills to include correct use of grammar and punctuation required for appeal letter writing and submission
Working knowledge of professional and institutional claim forms (CMS-1500, UB-04)
Basic understanding of ICD-10 CM, CPT, Modifier and HCPCS codes, and medical terminology
Proficient Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) skills
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent, college coursework preferred
1 – 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment performing billing and/or collections or equivalent revenue cycle experience
Enterprise eClinical Works E H R experience preferred
